The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), which has time and again cornered YSR Congress (YSRC) seeking its stand on Telangana issue, surprisingly kept silent during the visit of party’s honorary president Y.S. Vijayalakshmi to Medak district on Tuesday.

This was the first visit by Ms. Vijayalakshmi to the district headquarters and the TRS even did not make any statement.

However, police took 14 workers of the TRS into control at Jogipet as a precautionary measure.

“They have not created any problem. We took them into custody to avoid anything unwarranted incident and let them off in the evening,” said a police official.
