Trekking pilgrims to get free laddu at Tirumala

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams board of trustees resolved on Monday to give a free laddu to all devotees reaching the hill town on foot. This will be in addition to the two laddus given at subsidised price to devotees choosing the tedious foot routes. The scheme will come into force on the auspicious Vaikunta Ekadasi festival on January 11.
