Tirumala temple replica to come up at Pushkarams

The new TTD trust board in its maiden meeting ON Saturday approved the proposal of setting-up of a replica of the Tirumala temple of Lord Venkateswara in Rajahmundry during the Godavari Pushkarams, scheduled to begin from July 14.

The new trust board which met here under the Chairmanship of C. Krishna Murthy on Saturday also resolved to purchase 70 lakh stainless blades for use at the massive Kalyanakatta. The management also gave nod for the purchase of about 450 high quality silk sarees for use at Tirumala temple as well as Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple at Tirupati. It also sanctioned the proposal of constructing godowns at Tirupati for storing human hair.
