The widely appreciated ‘time slot’ in the Sarva Darshsanam of Lord Venkateswara will be introduced on a full-fledged basis from the second week of March.

Talking to the media, TTD Executive Officer Anil kumar Singhal on Friday said the results relating to the trial run of the time slot system which was taken up during the third week of December were very impressive and encouraging. “We are also considering opening of a few counters at Tirupati,” he said. He also said that the management was also exploring the possibilities of constructing more guest houses in Tirupati.

Online quota

Earlier, Mr. Singhal said the management has also released the online quota of about 56,953 arjitha tickets for April which include Suprabhatam (7,878 tickets) Thomala and Archana (120 each), Astadalam (240) and 2,300 tickets of Nijapada darshan. The devotees can avail these tickets by participating in the electronic dip system. The rest 45,935 tickets pertaining to other day time rituals can be availed under general booking.
