One of the accused, Paladugu Rajeshwari, was the kingpin, the police alleged.

On a tip-off that gambling was being organised in an apartment near NAAC Kalyanamandapam, a team led by Task Force ACP P. Muralidhar and CI R. Suresh Reddy conducted a raid and took the accused into custody.

The police seized two cars, seven motorcycles, 23 mobile phones and ₹7.32 lakh cash from the accused.

The accused, along with the seized property, were handed over to the Patamata police for further action, said Mr. Muralidhar.
