Three boys electrocuted while flying kite

Three children died when they came into contact with live electric wires while flying kite at Nagilerugattu village in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh on Friday.

According to sources, the children – John Babu (10), Yesu Raju (12) and Suresh (12), all natives of Nagilerugattu, tried to retrieve a kite which was entangled in the electric wires with an iron rod. They died on the spot due to severe electric shock.

Revenue and police officials rushed to the spot. Pamarru police are investigating the case.
