Think out of box, CM tells Collectors

April 02, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:53 am IST - HYDERABAD:

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has urged Collectors and Head of Departments to think out of the box to aim at achieving double digit growth in all districts.

Addressing the Collectors’ conference here on Wednesday, Mr. Naidu asked the Collectors to identify 40 to 45 growth engines in order to boost the revenues of the districts.

He asked them to draw inspiration from Singapore which emerged as the world’s best destination to do business and set up bench marks towards achieving targets by relying more on technology.

Emphasising on accountability in all departments, he directed officials to ensure there was no corruption in the departments and he would bring in reforms if necessary.
