Temple gears up for Sri Rama Navami

Sri Panchamukha Anjaneya Swamy Temple Trust Board is gearing up to celebrate Sri Rama Navami Utsav from April 8 to 15 on the temple premises on the N.C.S. Theatre Road in the town.

Detailing activities of the temple, the trust board member B. Satyanarayana told a press conference on Wednesday that the celebrations would begin with Sri Vigneswara puja, kalasa sthapana, ruthvik varuna and gopuja . In addition to daily rituals and Sundarkanda and Hanuman Chalisa Parayana, the trust board would conduct, as part of annual day celebrations of the temple on April 10, 11 and 12, Panchamrutha Abhishekamulu and one lakh Thamalapakula puja to the presiding deity. The temple chief priest Yedida Malleswara Sarma would conduct Sri Rama kalyanamahotsavam on April 15 which will be followed by ‘Anna Prasada Vitarana’. He said arrangements were being made to accommodate hundreds of devotees during the celebrations. The temple hereditary trustee Manchukonda Appala Raju and utsav committee members P. Kama Raju, G.N. Gupta, D.S.P. Lingam and others were present.
