Telugu Desam MLA’s brother shot dead in Devarkadra

Jaganmohan alias Jagan, younger brother of Jadcherla MLA from the TDP, M. Chandrasekhar, was shot dead by two unidentified persons in Devarkadra Assembly constituency on Wednesday evening.

Jaganmohan was waiting at the old bus stand at around 4.30 p.m when the assailants fired at him and immediately fled the spot. It is learnt that Jaganmohan’s wife Ashrutha, is contesting for the sarpanch post from their native village Pedda Chintakunta in Dhanwada mandal. Jadcherla MLA Erra Sekhar’s wife Bhavani is also contesting for the same post. It is also learnt that Jagan refused to withdraw his wife from the contest .
