Kiran was born on January 26, 1980. The 33-year-old actor got married to his long time friend Vishita on October 24, 2012 and ended his life 20 days ahead of his 34th birthday.

The actor was alone in his flat on Sunday night. His wife had gone to Manikonda on some personal work. She grew suspicious as Kiran was not responding to her mobile phone calls and rushed home only to find him dead.

Popular for his romantic roles in Telugu films, the actor made debut with Telugu film Chitram directed by Teja in 2000. The film became a smashing success. Some more blockbuster movies such as Nuvvu Neenu, Manasantha Nuvve and Sriram made him one of the most popular and promising stars in his early 20s.

He got engaged to the daughter of mega star and Union Minister Chiranjeevi in 2003. The proposed marriage was cancelled eventually. Kiran continued his career in films but could not secure successful films.

Tollywood heroes, directors and musicians rushed to the hospital to pay homage to the actor. Actor Srikanth expressing his shock over Kiran’s death said that the police should ascertain causes that compelled him to resort to the extreme step.

Music director Patnaik expressed his heartfelt condolences.

As kvenkataramam rightly states, UNFORTUNATELY caste factor it's part in Politics/Film industry/business/jobs in A.P. It is extremely shameful. Education, values, and cultural traditions have been manipulated by certain selfish beings to come up with unfair divisions under the garb of 'Caste'!

The dramatic cancellation of Engagement, and the alleged boycot of Uday
Kiran definitely added to the depression. Also the alleged control of
Theatres by FOUR "Film Mafia" groups (as was alleged some time back by
Raja, another actor). We heard of Mafias in other walks of life. But in
Filmy World???

It is very sad and shocking to hear news of Uday's sudden demise. He has great
talent to become a good hero.. Dirty politics eating talent is there everywhere, these culprits who play politics getting support from their industry colleagues which is bad..... I wish Uday's soul rest in peace and condolences to his family.

When success eluded from Film Industry offers, he ended his life. In a similar way first in Hindu Films occurred in way back 1960s. Later on there are some stray incidents are being occurred. However, it was very unfortunate incident. Our hearts go out in sympathy to the bereaved Family. He should not have done it and we have been mourning since we learnt it. His bad period has been started when he got engaged with the daughter of Chiranjivi in 2003 and subsequently it was broken. It was very unfortunate for Uday Kiran & since that time onwards he was not getting chances in Films. Now, whole AP is mourning in his memory. Certainly any body can die due to accident or illness but not due to self killing, that too by hanging. Such type of death, nobody accepts. One thing to be learn from this that whenever somebody earns, at that time itself he could start to save some thing in order to face un fore seen problems. He acted in 19 films but learnt there was no house for him.

He was the only one who came up in Telugu industry all by himself by
his own merit! And everyone knows why such a top leading hero could
not get any offers in the very next year!! And this incident clearly
shows how a powerful affluent person could get a talented innocent
person down and bring this fate to him! Almost everyone is silently
aware of this, if not whole of India, for sure the Telugu people and
most importantly the so-called famous Telugu film industry too! Here,
the money matters then the talent! And still we just try to appreciate
and follow those affluent powerful people and can never stand for whom
we believe in! Ha!

Very sad.pity for his wife.Acted in 19 films and earned a good amount.Should have invested
wisely. He should have followed his first film director Teja who bought a house in Jubilee hills
and a theatre.

Police should ascertain what is the cause behind that ..we cannot say
anything at the moment There is no suicidal note Uday kiran has committed
suicide himself or somebody let him to commit suicide or somebody
murdered That is mystery..

so lets wait...

Uday Kiran was a ground-to-earth person. He saw huge monies earlier but a sudden dearth of money now was a problem. His downfall started when Chiranjeevi stopped the marriage of Uday and his daughter. All the real story of that supposed-to-happen marriage was kept in a hush-hush manner. Chiranjeevi should reveal the secrets. Uday had financial problems. It was obvious that his career was dull and he is accustomed to the lavish life.

Oh God... A talented actor but must have had his problems. Suicide is
not an option for anyone in this world... There will be people always
ahead of you and others will lag behind you so you have to be happy with
what you have, when you gain insight of others problem, surely you would
be happy in a way and will feel that you are blessed and were not tested
to that extent... Tussle with you problems and you will find a way...
This is a precious life and we all are blessed to lead a human life so
live the life to the fullest... RIP Mr Uday kiran ...

Let the nature decide our fate and our time in this earth, not the
circumstances, the people around us. All the children and everyone, are
hearing these news, the impact of this sad demise is indelible and
should be avoided. Death, actually doesn't justify anything to anyone.

One more very sad tail, nobody should commit such great crime. The
people who commit suicide never have idea about traumatized effects
of suicide on their relatives and dear one's. If the people like
a star will do such things what would be effects on their families
friends and fans.I have a suggestion for every human being whether
good looking or ugly looking, affluent or poor life is priceless do not
waste it, it may have no value for individual but it is priceless for
someone.
