Minister for Major Irrigation P. Sudarshan Reddy formally inaugurated the Computer Science and Engineering building constructed at a cost of Rs. 5 crore at the Telangana University, Dichpalli mandal in Nizamabad district on Wednesday.

The Minister said that they had taken all measures to ensure quality education in the Telangana university. Assuring to take measures for the sanction of Rs. 30 crore for additional facilities and research projects, he also promised to provide electricity sub-station and bus transport facilities to the university.

He said that sanctioning of Telangana University and Government medical college would improve the educational standards in the district and benefit the future generation.

The Minister also expressed concern over the killing of Forest Range Officer Gangaiah and promised a house site to the bereaved family members.

Nizamabad MP Madhu Yashki Goud called upon the students to develop communication skills. He also assured to strive for tie-up with foreign universities for taking up research works.

MLCs A. Narsa Reddy and V. Gangadhara Goud, Telangana University Vice-Chancellor Akbar Ali Khan, Registrar Limbadri and others were present.
