Telangana Ministers to meet Vayalar on Saturday

The Ministers from Telangana are expected to meet Union Minister and AICC special emissary to AP, Vayalar Ravi, in New Delhi on Saturday morning and request him to impress upon the party leadership to expedite the issue of separate statehood to Telangana at the earliest. They are likely to give the letter written by them jointly seeking an early decision on Telangana.

Ministers K. Jana Reddy and Ponnala Lakshmaiah have already reached Delhi and others will join them there in time as the appointment with Mr. Ravi was learnt to have been fixed at 9.30 a.m. Party MP Palvayi Goverdhan Reddy called on Mr. Ravi in the forenoon and Mr. Jana Reddy had a meeting with Union Minister for Petroleum S. Jaipal Reddy along with three MPs from the region -- G. Vivek, Ponnam Prabhakar and S. Rajaiah and MLC Yadava Reddy.
