The TDP on Wednesday asked YSRCP president Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy to stop his padayatra and console the victims of Bitcoin Software Services Private Limited, which, they said, was started by YSRCP leader Saikam Ramakrishna Reddy.

Addressing a press conference here, TDP State general secretary and A.P. Housing Corporation chairman Varla Ramaiah alleged that the Bitcoin company had collected ₹200 crore from people by making false promises. The company promised that it would pay ₹10 lakh if ₹10,000 was deposited with it for three years. It also offered ₹1 crore returns in three years for a deposit of ₹1 lakh, he alleged.

The company had allegedly collected ₹200 crore from the gullible people and duped them, he alleged, adding, “In view of the gravity of the problem, Mr. Jagan should visit the houses of the victims and console them.”
