Telugu Desam MLA Errabelli Dayakar Rao on Friday slammed TRS legislators K.T. Rama Rao and T. Harish Rao, saying that they were known to throw challenges but not accepting them.
At a press conference here, Mr. Dayakar said that even TRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao had not kept his promises, recalling that he had promised that he would make a Dalit as Chief Minister of Telangana. The TRS supremo had promised that his family members would not interfere with party affairs but his son Mr. Rama Rao, daughter Kavitha and nephew Mr. Harish Rao are playing key roles in the party, he pointed out.
At another press conference, party leader Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu criticised the Congress high command for giving a second term as Rajya Sabha member to K.V.P. Ramchandra Rao whose name had cropped up in the titanium racket. “Investigating agencies in the US have referred his name in the case pertaining to the titanium imbroglio,” he pointed out.
