The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) legislator from Nandigama Tangirala Prabhakar died at Nandigama in the district at around midnight on Sunday. The 64-year old TDP leader is survived by a son and two daughters. He suffered heart attack during midnight and breathed his last at a local hospital.
The active politician even took part in a ministerial visit to Pulichintala irrigation project organised by irrigation minister Devineni Umamaheswara rao on sunday morning. In the late evening, the MLA had dinner along with his family members and went to bed. He complained vomting, and was shifted hospital subsequently.
The MLA joined the TDP in 80s and served in various capacities. He got elected from Nandigama in 2009 and 2014 after the constituency was reserved to SC. He was known to be a non controversial leader in the party.
He started his career as an advocate, and served as zptc member and mandala parishad president in the past.
He was suffering from diabetes for past sometime now.
