TDP cadre invited for the big day

Chief Minister-designate of Andhra Pradesh N. Chandrababu Naidu has, in a teleconference with party cadre and leaders, invited them to his swearing-in on the grounds opposite Acharya Nagarjuna University in Guntur district at 7.24 p.m. on June 8, said the party district president Dwarapureddy Jagadish on Friday.

He said that Mr. Naidu, considering all party men as members of a family, invited them for the function, and the district committee here has distributed the invitations the party president sent to it among all party men. At least 200 people from each of the nine Assembly constituencies in the district were expected to participate in it. Accordingly, he said, transport arrangements were being made.

Big task ahead

Mr. Jagadish said since the Congress had done great injustice to the residuary State of Andhra Pradesh it was for all sections of people to cooperate with the party leadership in rebuilding the State. Stating that several issues needed attention, he said the party would in right earnest take the support and suggestions to solve them.
