Task force to tackle land encroachers

A special task force team has been formed to identify and resolve the problems related to encroachment of lands belonging to the Waqf Board, Anjuman Bhavan and several missionaries’ institutions like CAM and ABM in the city.

Nearly 1,500 acres, including prime property in the city and other towns in the district, were under encroachment for long.

The Waqf Protection Committee was now initiating special measures to remove the encroachers and ensure that the properties were protected, sources said.
