In a show of largesse, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) management has decided to provide laddus to all its retired employees at Rs.5 each on a par with its working employees.

It may be mentioned that the management provides ten laddus each to all its working employees at a subsidised price of Rs.5 each every month and for Rs.10 to its retired employees.

Obliging the long pending request of the retired employees, the management on Thursday issued orders to this effect.

Talking to The Hindu, Mr. Prabhakar Reddy, general secretary of the retired employees union, said that over 6,000 employees will be benefited with the orders and thanked the TTD’s executive officer L.V. Subramanyam on behalf of the employees union.
