High Court comprising Justices V Ramasubramanian and S V Bhatt on Tuesday asked the management of the AgriGold consortium companies to supply all documents pertaining to properties and mortgages etc. to the Subhash Chandra Foundation of the Essel-Zee Group.

This group wanted to take over the whole business of the consortium and pay a lumpsum to facilitate repayment to depositors. The court had permitted its representatives to verify all the documents.

The bench was dealing with the case filed by the depositors who complained that the consortium had cheated them and not paid the deposited money. The Foundation informed the court that it must verify some more documents. The bench directed the AgriGold management to furnish all papers. The case is adjourned by two weeks.

A division bench comprising Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan and Justice K. Vijaya Lakshmi on Tuesday ordered notices in a PIL regarding the breakdown of the academic schedule of the D.Ed. courses in Andhra Pradesh.

The bench was dealing with the PIL which was based on a letter written by the students of the SVN D.Ed. college of Kurnool. They said the managements had derailed the schedule and examinations were delayed by more than nine months.

The bench ordered notices to the State government, the NCTE and the management of the college.
