Lokayukta-designate Justice B. Subhashan Reddy presents a shawl to Andhra Pradesh Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan at a meeting at Raj Bhavan in Hyderabad on Friday.

Justice B. Subhashan Reddy was sworn-in as the new Lokayukta of Andhra Pradesh by Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan in Raj Bhavan here on Friday.

Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, acting Chief Justice of the High Court Justice Pinaki Chandra Ghose, several judges of the High Court and State government officials participated in the brief and simple swearing-in ceremony.

Justice Reddy took oath of office in the name of god. He will hold the office of Lokayukta for five years. He succeeds Justice S. Ananda Reddy.
