Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MLA K.T. Rama Rao has warned of severe consequences if the counter agitations against separate Telangana did not stop.
He said the agitation was aimed at making sure that the Telangana people did not benefit at the cost of their counterparts in Coastal areas on account of division of the State.
Shed this attitude or face the consequences, he said while addressing a gathering at a camp of relay hunger strike launched by the Telangana Joint Action Committee here on Monday against the agitations in Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema districts.
Mr. Rao alleged that the camp office of Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy turned into a place of conspiracy against Telangana. Mr. Reddy, Telugu Desam president N. Chandrababu Naidu and YSR Congress president Jaganmohan Reddy were the main conspirators.
JAC president M. Kodandaram said the people of Telangana will relentlessly strive to fulfil their demand of a separate State.
