The TTD has made elaborate arrangements for the grand conduct of the three-day annual Padmavathi Parinayotsavams scheduled to take off to a colourful start on April 27.

In connection with the festival, the august wedding ceremony of the deities will be observed on all the three days during the festival period. The venue for the festival — Narayanagiri Gardens — has been spruced up for the mega event which will conclude on April 29.

As part of the celebrations, the procession of the Gaja Vahanam will be observed on the first day followed by Aswa and Garuda Vahanams on the other two days. The TTD Annamacharya Project also has brought out a special calendar of cultural programmes for the festival. Meanwhile, the temple administration has dispensed with the conduct of post noon ‘arjitha sevas’ inside the hill temple.
