Special officers to monitor works

The East Godavari district administration will depute special officials to monitor the progress of works pertaining to ‘Godavari Pushkaram’. Steps are being taken to ensure early completion of various works. Announcing this at a review meeting here on Tuesday, Collector H. Arun Kumar said district-level officials would be deputed as supervisory officials to monitor Pushkaram works. Along with the Special Officer of Godavari Pushkaralu and Commissioner of Rajahmundry Municipal Corporation J. Murali, Mr. Arun Kumar reviewed the progress of the works and issued necessary orders to the departments concerned.

The Collector advised officials to chalk out a 100-day plan and ensure completion of the works on a war-footing.
