‘It will power nearly 1,50,000 homes once connected to the grid’

Kolkata-based module manufacturer and solar EPC player Vikram Solar, on Tuesday commissioned a 200 MW solar power project for Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation (APGENCO) near Tadipatri in Anantapur district.

The plant segregated into two blocks of 100 MW each for better management and higher efficiency, will power nearly 1,50,000 homes once connected to the grid, according to a company release here on Tuesday.

The power from the project spread will be evacuated at two 33 KV substations further pass on to 220/400 KV main substation.
