Six end life in Karimnagar district

Six persons including two farmers and a woman have allegedly committed suicide in separate incidents in the last 24 hours in different parts of the district, police said on Wednesday.

B Sadanandam (28), a farmer, who failed to repay the debts after his crops failed due to scarcity of water, resorted to the extreme step by consuming insecticide and died at Bethigal village under Veenavanka police station limits.

Another debt-ridden cotton farmer, C Shyam Sunder Reddy (48), of Tangallapalli village in Koheda mandal allegedly hanged himself.

In another incident, M Bheemaiah (44), a handloom weaver, hanged himself Garshakurthi village under Gangadhara police station limits on Tuesday.

B Mas reportedly unable to repay debts also hanged himself at his residence in andal.

In a similar case, N Laxmi, who was facing a financial crisis, ended her life Konapur village under Kodimial police limits.

In yet another case D Narender (24) resorted to self-immolation at his residence unable to bear stomach—ache, police said.
