Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has instructed officials of the Industries Department and the State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) to showcase the various products being manufactured in the State, including the cars set to roll out from the stable of KIA Motors and Foxconn’s mobile phones, in addition to presentations on what the State has to offer to prospective investors, at the CII Partnership Summit in Visakhapatnam.

Real Time Governance

By doing so, Andhra Pradesh would earn a distinct brand identity, which was essential to impress upon those looking to foray into the Sunrise State, he observed.

Addressing a SIPB meeting at the Secretariat on Thursday, Mr. Naidu said due focus should be laid on smart grids, electric vehicles, disruptive technologies, and solar energy storage. The manner in which Real Time Governance (RTG) helped in serving the people in a quick and transparent way should also be explained to the participants, he added.

The Chief Minister said registrations for the Partnership Summit would begin at 10 a.m. on February 24.

IT Minister N. Lokesh would throw light on the government’s initiatives in an exclusive gathering of top honchos in the evening. ADB Country Director Kenichi Yokoyama and KIA Motors India MD and CEO Kookhyun Shim would be among the panellists.
