Shri Ram Chandra Mission (SRCM) Working Committee member R. Venkat Edara has exhorted students to set big goals and strive hard to achieve them.
Stepping stones
Students should be always ready to learn from their mistakes and failures considering them as stepping stones for success, he said before distributing certificates and prizes to the winners in an ‘All India Essay Writing Event-2014’ organised jointly by the Shri Ram Chandra Mission and the United Nations Information Centre for India and Bhutan in Telugu, English and Hindi at the zonal SRCM Ashram here.
In all, 407 of the total 3,240 students from 191 schools and colleges from across Prakasam district who took part in the annual contest, walked away with useful books as prizes.
Communication skills
The contest was organised to hone the communication skills of students and groom them into responsible citizens in the future, said its district in-charge M. Bhaskar.
