Chittoor MLA D.A. Satyaprabha on Thursday said in view of the congestion on the existing flyover connecting the Puttur-Bengaluru highway, a proposal had been submitted to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for construction of a second flyover in the town.
The MLA said steps would be taken immediately to install iron ramps on the flyover for the convenience of pedestrians.
“The second flyover and traffic police surveillance at the junction are important, as there are more than 25 educational institutions in the zone,” Ms. Satyaprabha said.
