Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will take up cudgels for beleaguered Andhra Pradesh, which had allegedly been meted out a raw deal by the BJP-TDP combine, according to Aam Aadmi Party State Youth Wing secretary M. Vinod Kumar.

The Delhi Chief Minister and other AAP leaders, including Gopal Rai and Somnath Bharati, would lend support to the party’s struggle for SCS to Andhra Pradesh, he told reporters here on Tuesday.

“We will not rest till SCS is achieved,” he asserted.

The BJP-TDP combine, which came to power promising SCS, betrayed the trust reposed by the people in it, he alleged, adding that the party would organise a public meeting ‘Yuva Bheri’ here in the first week of July to drum up support for the cause by joining hands with like-minded parties, taking inspiration from Potti Sriramulu, a native of Nellore district, who had championed the cause of Telugu people.
