SCR specials for Bible convention

South Central Railway has made elaborate transport arrangements for the Bible Mission annual convention to be held in Guntur between January 26 and 29.

They include addition of one or two general second class coaches, extension of trains, special trains and temporary, two-minute halt at the Nagarjuna Nagar Halt Station.

Trains, which will have additional coaches include 57231/57232 Kakinada-Vijayawada-Kakinada, 57382/57381 Narasapur-Guntur-Narasapur Passenger, 57217/57218 Macherla- Bhimavaram/Guntur-Macherla Passenger, 57327 Dhone-Guntur Passenger and 57298 Narsapur-Guntur Passenger.

No. 57226/57225 Vijayawada-Visakhapatnam-Vijayawada Passenger and 57272 will be extended to Guntur, while 57232/57231 Kakinada Port-Vijayawada-Kakinada Passenger will be extended to Guntur on on January 27 and 28, with halt at Nagarjuna Nagar.

No. 07250 Guntur-Vijayawada Passenger Special will leave Guntur at 11.15 a.m. and reach Vijayawada at 12.15 on the same day. No. 07223 Kakinada Port-Guntur will leave at 5.30 a.m. and arrive in Guntur at 12.50 p.m. on Jan. 26, while No. 07224 will leave Guntur at 1.50 p.m. on January 29 and reach Kakinada Port at 8.40 p.m. same day.

Train No. 17201/17202 Guntur-Secunderabad-Guntur Golconda Express will stop for two minutes at the Nagarjuna Nagar, as also No. 17239/17240 Guntur-Visakhapatnam-Guntur Simhadri Express, a press release said.
