A seven-year-old boy was killed when he slipped and fell from the school bus at Jupudi in Ponnur mandal on Tuesday afternoon.
The victim, Veera Shasank, was studying second standard in Natco School of Learning.
The incident took place as the bus was returning from school at Gollamudipadu. The boy was standing near the door after the bus reached Jupudi. The door suddenly flung open and the boy slipped and fell.
Serious head injury
Shasank sustained a serious head injury and was rushed to the Government General Hospital here, but he died on the way.
