State Bank of India Srikakulam region was selected as the best region in North Andhra for the promotion of Hindi language in its 50 branches in the district.
Deputy General Manager of the bank, K.N. Naik, presented the award to Srikakulam SBI Regional Manager D. Raja Rama Mohana Rao recently. In a function organised in the regional branch-Srikakulam, Mr. Raja Rama Mohana Rao congratulated the staff for following the guidelines of the head office in promotion of Hindi which was widely used in internal correspondence and ‘Word a Day programme.”
He said the Hindi would enable staff to provide better services when they were working in cosmopolitan cities and northern States. He urged them to improve their language skills with thorough practice and meet the expectations of the bank.
