Union Minister for Civil Aviation P. Ashok Gajapati Raju on Sunday urged people to give top priority to conservation of water and protection of environment. He inaugurated a drinking water project, executed at a cost of Rs. 39 crore at Rajam in Srikakulam district , he said future generations would suffer, if water sources were not protected. He expressed concern over the poor attention being paid to protection of saplings after their plantation in several places in the district.
