The condition of Sathya Sai Baba, who is undergoing treatment for multi-organ dysfunction, on Sunday continued to show improvement though he is still on ventilatory support, doctors attending on him said here.

“Sri Sathya Sai Baba, who entered the 14th day of treatment in this hospital, has shown slight improvement in the functioning of the kidneys,” a health bulletin issued on Sunday morning by the Director of the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning here, said.

“However, he continues to be on intermittent slow hemodialysis and ventilatory support. His vital parameters of health are stable and satisfactory. The panel of doctors treating him is satisfied with the progress he is making,” it said.

85-year-old Sathya Sai Baba was admitted to the super-speciality hospital on March 28 following problems related to heart and respiration.

Doctors treating him have said he was suffering from multi-organ dysfunction and that he was responding to the treatment.
