Sabitha charge-sheeted

April 10, 2014 01:07 am | Updated May 21, 2016 10:09 am IST - HYDERABAD:

The Central Bureau of Investigation on Wednesday filed charge sheets against former Home Minister P. Sabitha Indra Reddy and retired Industries Secretary B. Kripanandam in the illegal mining case against former Karnataka Minister Gali Janardhan Reddy.

The CBI filed the fourth and final charge sheet in the case while winding up its four-year-old probe into the illegal mining activities of Janardhan Reddy-owned Obulapuram Mining Company (OMC) in the Bellary reserve forest of Anantapur district.

Moving a petition, the CBI requested the court to delete Ms. Sabitha Indra Reddy as a witness in two earlier charge sheets and include her as an accused since her involvement in the scam was clearly established.
