Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister K. Rosaiah has emphasised the need for the officials to serve the poorest of the poor with a human face to ensure that benefits of all developmental and welfare measures reached the needy and genuine beneficiaries.

Mr. Rosaiah will formally launch ‘Praja Patham’ at Katarivaripalem village under Challareddypalem Gram Panchayat of Vetapalem Mandal in Prakasam district tomorrow.

He will listen to grievances of the people and set the tone for the programme by motivating the officials concerned to work for on the spot solutions.

Reviewing the preparations for the Praja Patham — a drive to take administration to the doorsteps of the people — with officials and his cabinet colleagues, the Chief Minister directed that every effort should be made to solve the grievances aired by the people, particularly in villages.

The Chief Minister is also expected to visit Rayadurgam, Hindupur, Anantapur and Kadiri in Anantapur District on April 25th and 26th and Nellore District on May 2nd, an official release said here on Sunday.
