Rosaiah: Naidu solely to blame

July 22, 2010 02:30 am | Updated November 08, 2016 02:11 am IST - HYDERABAD:

Sharply attacking Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N. Chandrababu Naidu, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister K. Rosaiah has held him solely responsible for the present “embarrassing situation” faced by the State on the Babli issue and condemned his provocative statements against Marathis.

At a media conference here on Wednesday, a day after TDP leaders returned to the city from Maharashtra, Mr. Rosaiah said Mr. Naidu was creating a rift between Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra and a misunderstanding between Marathis and Telugus.

The Chief Minister, however, complimented the TDP leaders for making a valiant bid to visit Babli, braving lathicharge by the “abrasive” Maharashtra police.
