As Indian Women’s Hockey goalkeeper E. Rajani was returning home after securing the women’s Asia Cup title in Japan, she was accorded a warm reception at the Renigunta airport here on Saturday.
Speaking to The Hindu , Ms. Rajani expressed her happiness over winning the title for the second time since 2004. “We had to wait for 13 years to secure the title and this year’s win has boosted our rank to the 10th place.
