Rich tributes paid to PV

Rich tributes were paid to former Prime Minister P.V. Narasimha Rao on the occasion of his birth anniversary in here on Friday.

APSRTC Chairman M. Satyanarayana Rao, Government Whip Arepalli Mohan, Karimnagar MP Ponnam Prabhakar, District Congress Committee president K. Ravinder Rao, Town president Kanne Krishna and others paid floral tributes to the former Prime Minister by garlanding his portrait at the DCC office.

Mr. Satyanarayana Rao recollected the services of Mr. Narasimha Rao as the Prime Minister and bringing reputation to the country through his economic reforms.

He said that P.V. belonged to Telangana region and had won accolades from all sections of society for his land reforms.

His birth anniversary was also celebrated in Vangara village of Bheemadevarapalli mandal, the native place of P.V. Narasimha Rao.
