Centre urged to include Kalinga Vysyas in OBC list

Srikakulam Kalinga Vysya Assocation urged the Union government to include the community in the OBC list so that the students would get reservation in Central government jobs. At a media conference here, association State president A.V. Narasimham, BC Sadhana Committee president Boina Govinda Rajulu, association Srikakulam wing president Andhavarapu Suribabu and others said that the State government had included the Kalinga Vysyas in the BC category, after a prolonged agitation and it was time the Centre did the same too. The association would felicitate Labour Minister K. Atchannaidu and other public representatives who helped in the inclusion of the community in the BCs listAssociation leader Jami Bhima Shankarsaid that an OBC Sadhana Committee would also be constituted to bring in pressure on the Centre for inclusion of the community in the OBC list..
