Budgets disappointing

Both railway and general budgets have disappointed people in general and Andhra Pradesh in particular. Nothing much has been announced for the State. Instead of exploring other options to garner resources, both the budgets have added to the burden of the taxpayer.

Every successive government is behaving like the old one.

It’s realistic

Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu presented railway budget which sought to consolidate and complete the pending projects rather than announce grandiose plans.

His is a down to earth budget and a realistic one.

Unfortunately, the Railway Minister did not announce a separate zone with Visakhapatnam as its headquarters or correct the wrong decisions of the past regarding the status of the port city and north Andhra people’s aspirations and needs.
