A.P. Kapu Welfare and Development Corporation Chairman Chalamalasetty Ramanujaya on Sunday charged Opposition leader Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy with losing his mind and making derogatory remarks against Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.

Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy was nursing grouse that Mr. Naidu had the overwhelming support of people, he alleged while talking to the media here.

The YSR Congress president was in depression and desperation as his party MLAs were deserting him and joining the TDP.

YSRC would fail to secure deposit in the next general elections, he said and warned that the people would teach him a lesson if he failed to mend his ways.

Under Nava Nirmana Deeksha, the TDP government was reviewing its achievements and exploring means to overcome a plethora of problems posed by bifurcation of the State, Mr. Ramanujaya said.

The State government ensured Krishna-Godavari river linkage, increased pensions, waived loans of farmers and DWCRA women and striving to make Rayalaseema fertile with plans to release water through Pothireddipadu head regulator.

He presented Pratibha awards to meritorious students of the Balija community who topped in SSC and Intermediate in Akhila Bharatiya Kapu Samakhya meeting at Ambedkar Bhavan later.

Kapu leader Chadalavada Sucharita Krishnamurthy, wife of TTD Chairman Chadalavada Krishnamurthy, urged the government to construct Krishna pushkaralu ghats in the Rayalaseema region.
