‘Ramanuja Ratham’ to cover 8 Divya Desams

The ‘Ramanuja Ratham’, which was taken up by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams to commemorate the millennial celebrations of the Sri Vaishnavaite savant Bhagawad Ramanuja, will cover eight out of the 108 ‘Divya Desams’ (holy places) in its third leg.

The tour begins with Tiruvannamalai (July 20), Tiruppullani (July 21) and Tiruttankal (July 22). On July 23, the chariot is scheduled to reach Srivilliputtur, the birth place of Godha Devi (Andal), where Srinivasa Kalyanam will be performed. Later, it will travel to Madurai on July 24, covering Tirumalirunsolai, Tirukkottiyur and Tirumeyyam en route. Tirumogur and Tirukkoodal in and around Madurai will be covered on July 25.
