Ramagundam FCI unit to be revived

A joint venture agreement to revive the Ramagundam unit of Fertilizer Corporation of India Ltd in Karimnagar will be signed on Wednesday by FCIL, National Fertilisers Ltd (NFL) and Engineers India Ltd (EIL).

The estimated cost of the project is Rs.5,000 crore.

The project is part of the revival plan of FCIL units by the Centre.

Under the plan, NFL and EIL have been nominated for revival of the Ramagundam unit by forming a joint venture company with FCIL. This was in line with the approval of the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs.
