Rama Mandir spruced up for celebrations

The Sri Rama Mandir located at a small lane adjacent to the old bus stand in the district headquarters is all set for the Rama Navami celebrations on Tuesday.

A large part of the town including the Inspection Bungalow near the new bus stand has been illuminated. Sri Madhavananda Saraswathi Swami will conduct kalyanam at 3 p.m. tomorrow.

A large numbers of devotees are expected to arrive at the temple to participate in the celebration. The celebrations are being held in the name of Sri Rama Mandira Alaya Committee and Rama Mandira Yuva Sena.

Local legislator T. Jayaprakash Reddy has been associated with this temple since long. He has developed the temple by generating funds and also donated ornaments for the idols.
