A day ahead of the ICC World Cup final match between India and Sri Lanka, Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa will make a stop over at the famous Tirumala shrine of Lord Venkateswara on Friday.
According to the information reaching here, the TTD administration has reserved four guest houses for the President and his entourage.
Citing security reasons, the officials are tight lipped as to when the President will offer his prayers at the hill temple. The top officials of the TTD administration also maintained that the darshan timings will be made known only after his arrival. After the darshan and a night’s stay, Mr. Rajapaksa will fly to Mumbai on Saturday to watch the World cup final at Wankhede Stadium.
The President is scheduled to arrive at the Renigunta airport in a special aircraft on Friday evening and will head to Tirumala by road.
