Trains running between Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad are partially restored from 6 p.m. on Monday, according a press release from the South Central Railway. This follows partial restoration of the railway track between Elamanchili and Narasingapalli stations on the Vijayawada-Visakhapatnam section, which was disrupted due to the heavy rains.

The complete restoration of the track is likely by Tuesday evening. The six express trains - Secunderabad-Visakha, Janmabhoomi; Nizamuddin-Visakha, Swarna Jayanti; Alappuzha-Dhanbad; Yashwanthpur-Howrah; Trivandrum-Guwahati; Chennai Central-Howrah - are running as per normal scheduled routes and timings. However, the Tirupati-Bhubaneswar Express, which was scheduled to depart at 12.45 p.m., is cancelled for want of its pairing rake. The scheduled departure of Visakhapatnam-Hyderabad Godavari express at 5.25 p.m. is partially cancelled and re-scheduled to start from Samalkot. The Secunderabad-Tirupati, Narayanadri Express has been rescheduled to depart at 11.55 p.m. on the same day.
