Industries Minister J. Geeta Reddy and her former Cabinet colleagues Dharmana Prasada Rao, P. Sabita Indra Reddy and Mopidevi Venkataramana Rao and president of Board of Control for Cricket in India N. Srinivasan were among a host of accused in the disproportionate assets case against Kadapa MP Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy to appear in a Central Bureau of Investigation court here on Wednesday. The case was adjourned to March 21.
The court had exempted Jagan from personal appearance as the Parliament was in session and his auditor V. Vijay Sai Reddy as he was required for investigation by the Enforcement Directorate at New Delhi. Except K. Ratna Prabha and Y. Srilakshmi, all the IAS officers in the case – Manmohan Singh, M. Samuel, B.P. Acharya and Adityanath Das – turned up. The lawyer of Puneet Dalmia filed a petition that his client could not be present.
