Anil Kumar Singhal on Saturday took charge as the Executive Officer of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams.

Talking to the media outside the main temple complex, he said providing satisfactory darshan to pilgrims was his priority. He said he would leave no stone unturned in meeting the requirements of the pilgrims.

Though the successive administrative heads contributed their best in extending various privileges to the pilgrims, there was always scope for improvement. He hoped he would rise up to the expectations of the public. He trekked up to the hill and had darshan of the deity in the Divya Darshan queue lines. Earlier, outgoing EO D. Sambasiva Rao handed over charge to him at the Ranganayakula Mandapam in the temple complex.
