The Telugu Desam Party has challenged the YSR Congress to prove its charge that there were irregularities in the allotment of land here to IMG Bharata for creation of international standard sports training facilities for youth.

Addressing a press conference, TDP MLA, Payyavula Keshav accused the YSRC of misleading the Assembly and the people by making baseless charges against the leader of the Opposition, N. Chandrababu Naidu as if he indulged in wrong doing in this particular land allotment.

He said the fact was that the Supreme Court, the AP High Court and ACB had found nothing wrong in the allotment of land even while the former Chief Minister, Y. S. Rajasekhar Reddy tried his best to some how fix Mr. Naidu. In support of his argument Mr. Keshav released the ACB’s report, the High Court’s observations and Supreme Court’s dismissal of a petition.

As late as in 2012, YSRC president, Vijayamma’s petition that included this particular land allotment was dismissed by the Supreme Court, he recalled and wondered why the YSRC was raising this issue again and again.
